While I love Carvin basses the Bunny Brunel models always seem to be a notch above their typical models. They are usually lighter (just 7 3/4 lbs in this instance) and  more responsive with a few added features that pushes them more into 'high-end' territory. This one has alder body wings and a one-piece maple neck-thru-body design for ultimate sustain and stability. The jet-black ebony fretboard is accented by heart abalone inlays. A MM/J pickup setup pairs with Carvin's 9-volt preamp featuring 3-band EQ. All hardware is gold-plated and includes locking Sperzel tuners and a Hipshot bridge (the first year for these). The bass has a bit of player wear from 20 years of being lovingly played in a family band. Note: While the bass appears blue in some of the flash pics it is most definitely a beautiful see-thru violet finish!

This is a true one-owner bass and you get everything that came with the bass when I acquired it, all in a nice Carvin molded hardshell case.
